At BOISVERT COMICS, BC, we believe incredible artists exist all over the world.

Some are professionals.

Some are students.

Some have never published a comic.

Many have spent years drawing characters they don't own.

Artist Avenue was created to give talented artists an opportunity to help build an original universe.

Not by replacing their creativity...

…but by giving it a world to explore.

Our Mission

Artist Avenue exists to discover, mentor, and showcase outstanding human artists from Hawaiʻi and around the world.

We believe great storytelling has no borders.

Talent can come from anywhere.

Whether you live in Hawaiʻi, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, France, India, Egypt, Iran, or anywhere else, what matters most is your passion, professionalism, and artistic voice.

The MANA Universe

MANA is an original mythological universe created by Patrick Boisvert.

Within this universe are countless legends waiting to be illustrated.

Creative Freedom Inside Established Canon

This is the guiding principle of Artist Avenue.

We encourage every artist to bring:

Your own artistic style
Your own storytelling
Your own page layouts
Your own visual interpretation
Your own creative voice

At the same time, every story must respect the established MANA canon.

The history, mythology, characters, locations, timeline, and core lore remain consistent throughout the universe.

We don't want artists who draw alike.

We want artists whose unique styles make every MANA legend unforgettable.

Artist Avenue Is Selective

Artist Avenue is not an open submission program.

We intentionally keep it selective.

We believe every artist who joins should feel that they have earned the opportunity to contribute to the MANA Universe.

Selection is based on artistic ability, storytelling, professionalism, and the ability to work within established canon.

Selected artists may be invited to illustrate an official MANA mini-series.
